What’s the state of Speedway in South Australia
South Australia’s speedway scene is gearing up for an impressive 2024-2025 season, with major events scheduled at key venues like Gillman Speedway, Borderline Speedway, and Murray Bridge Speedway.
Gillman Speedway is set to host prominent competitions, including the FIM Oceania Speedway Senior Solo Championship on January 27 and the Oceania Sidecar Championship on March 9, both of which will bring elite local and international racers to Adelaide. Additionally, the Gillman Sidecar Masters event in December and the annual International Speedway Masters promise to deliver high-energy action featuring renowned riders like Jack Holder and former world champion Jason Doyle
Australian Speedway Championship
Borderline Speedway in Mount Gambier will kick off its season with the King’s Sprintcar Challenge, known for drawing top competitors and thrilling fans. This picturesque venue has a 372-meter track and hosts major blue-ribbon events across various speedway classes, making it a regional highlight for both competitors and spectators
With diverse events, local heroes, and international racers, South Australia’s speedway season promises a rich experience for fans across the state.

What a top site dedicated mainly to Rowley Park and the sedans.
I raced there in SA 84 EH Holden in the early seventies, and am endeavering to locate some pics here somewhere.
Ian Leyson and I started around the same time, and Ian has his lad in the seat now.
